the future is too important

Fascinated by the future possibilities that linger within current signals of change, I am an observer of the present and an independent futures thinker. My work focuses on the question of how current challenges can be transformed into desirable futures. I refine my expertise through the design and implementation of outstanding research projects, in my keynote speeches and workshops, and in the development of interactive future methods. During my career, I have led strategic-cultural future journeys for executives, implemented trend expeditions connecting established businesses with promising start-ups, searched for the smart home of the future as a jury member of the first Telekom Challenge, realised award-winning research projects, hosted an monthly online innovation lecture series, and co-founded the Frankfurt branch of the global Design Futures Initiative, designing events and building a community around speculative design and strategic foresight. ​​I am a frequent keynote speaker on all things future and put special emphasis on enabling the people I work with to become futures literate. In my client work, I am committed to building a future-proof bridge between societal change today and organisational action for a better-informed tomorrow.
